Meet our Associate, Dr. Tamara
Dr. Tamara fell in love with chiropractic when she observed how potent it is in optimizing the health and well-being of all individuals. Her own experience led her to transition out of a long career in legal and go back to school to become a chiropractor. During chiropractic school, she often wondered how her life would have been impacted if she had received care at an earlier stage in her life. Her experience learning about pregnancy and pediatric care affirmed her conviction and passion to work with children of all ages.
Dr. Tamara Graduated from Life Chiropractic College West where she completed additional training in SOT, Activator, Advanced Adjusting for the Physically Compromised, and BGI techniques. Dr. Tamara also obtained post-graduate certification in Neuro Emotional Technique and is delighted to offer this mind-body modality to the community. She is continuing her studies through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) for specialized training in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care.
Outside the office, she loves getting out in nature with her rescue French Bulldog, Dexter. Volunteering, exploring at the beach, hiking, paddle boarding, and gardening are some of her favorite activities.
Meet our Office Manager, Julie
"Hi! I’m Julie, the Office Manager here at Rooted Life Family Chiropractic. I started out pursuing a passion for teaching decades ago and taught and tutored all ages of students for many years. I’ve always had a love for helping people and dove into volunteer work in Costa Rica working with patients with HIV/AIDS. That was such a humbling and beautiful experience. Shortly after I met my husband and started a 15+ year journey of multiple military moves. I’m at a place now where I have the opportunity to work again and I could not be more thrilled to be working with Dr. Deb at Rooted Life! I’ve been a chiropractic client for over 30 years and it’s been my life savor!
I look forward to meeting and getting to know everyone that comes into the office! In my spare time I’m a bit obsessed with my 11 year old daughter Lela. We love to go to Disneyland as a family when my husband is home!"
